Cat Wood Carvings & Ornaments
Cats are a very easy subject to carve. They don't appear to
have bones or angles. Cats seem to be able to be posed in any position. Cat
carvings can have sleek smooth lines or can suggest a cat that has been very
well fed. A simple cat carving can portray a lazy attitude or seem ready to
pounce. The Linden wood and Butternut wood both work well in cat carvings.
The Linden wood shows more delicate detail and the grain of the Butternut
creates a suggestion of many different breeds type of multicolored fur.
